This blog was created so that I can share my cooking and baking experiences with friends and family, especially for my 12-year-old nephew, Jojo, who is in Indonesia. Jojo and I share the same passion for the kitchen. I hope that one day, we can be in the kitchen together, and I can imagine how much fun would that be!
This blog also includes my husband’s cooking and grilling, which he learned on his own and from reading the internet.
Prior to this blog, I shared pictures of our food on Facebook for my friends and family to see. However, I felt like I needed to do more than posting pictures on Facebook. I wanted to tell more about the food we made, thus, this blog was created.
I also included step-by-step pictures of the preparation of the food, because that would be what I look for in a cook book, or in any food blog. I am still learning my way around the kitchen. I found that seeing what the food should look like at any given time, during the preparation, is really helpful.
Pictures that I posted earlier were shot using a Sony DSC-H2 6MP; a point and shoot digital camera.
More recently posted pictures were shot with a Canon Rebel XSi with an EF-S 18 mm-55 mm lens.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy reading this blog and looking at the food’s pictures. To learn more about me, click here.
